System Requirements

ClickBase consists of several components, all of which work together to provide a complete solution. Each component has its own requirements.

ClickBase Data Access Server

  • An IBM® or compatible PC with a Pentium/ Equivalent processor.
  • Minimum of 1 GHz processor speed, 2 GHz or higher recommended.
  • Microsoft® Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7
  • Minimum of 1 GB RAM memory; 2 GB RAM or higher recommended
  • Minimum of 100 MB of available disk space.
  • TCP/IP network level connection to connecting clients through port 9000.
  • Monitor with minimum 800×600 screen resolution.
  • Microsoft® Data Access Components, version 2.71 or higher (automatically checked during install)
  • ADO driver for the chosen database platform

ClickBase Client

  • An IBM® or compatible PC with a Pentium/ Equivalent processor.
  • Minimum of 1 GHz processor speed, 2 GHz or higher recommended.
  • Microsoft® Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 (GDI+ must be installed on Windows 2000)
  • Minimum of 512 MB RAM memory; 2 GB RAM or higher recommended.
  • Minimum of 100 MB of available disk space.
  • TCP/IP network level connection to Data Access Server through port 9000.
  • Monitor with minimum 800×600 screen resolution, 1024 × 768 or better recommended.

  • Microsoft® Internet Explorer (MSIE) version 6 or higher or Mozilla Firefox.
  • JavaScript must be enabled.
  • ActiveX must be enabled in MSIE for OLAP services.
